Hastings Old Town
Overlooked by Hastings Castle, the Old Town hides many an interesting gem. Medieval All Saints Street and All Saints Church, the Fisherman's museum, the Shipwreck museum, the Victorian Miniature Railway and the net huts are famous local landmarks along the harbour front.
The latest addition is the Jerwood Gallery gallery on the Stade. See Jerwood Gallery
You can eat local fish and chips for lunch at Maggie's above the fishmarket in Rock-a Nore Road, but you will need to book in advance (01424 430205). If you can't get a table don't worry, there are lots more fish and chip restaurants along the seafront. (You can get into Hastings on the 101 bus.) See Hastings Attractions
